A Time of Troubles
The Wild Lands lay to the north, just beyond Frostwood. It is wide plains nestled between the Pallid Peaks and the Dragonspine Mountains. Historically, the racial demographics of the Wild Lands was much more diverse; from goliath-to-gnome. As wars raged and the competition for resources caused conflict the major tribes consist of The Loose Fang Tribe a predominately orcish culture and the The Northern Plains People. The Northern Plains People held more diversity in their numbers, but were more spread out and therfore it is hard to describe them with any identity.
To exist in the Wild Lands, the tribe must either be nomadic or lean heavily on mounts in order to canvas the great plains. Pronghorn elk, wild cattle, and the occasional boar were plentiful enough to satisfy the needs of the village. It is said that “the land is dead” because the plains seem to always be yellow and dry. This is only coined by travelers, as natives can see the signs of life and beauty in vast fields.
